Compass Outreach provides meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, transportation, medical clinics, community outreach and seasonal warming services at scheduled locations throughout Coos County. Mobile shower and laundry services are coming soon.

Use the calendar and map below to see what is available, when services are offered and where to go.  A meal site is often a good place to begin. You can eat, meet the team and ask what other help is available that day.

WAYS COMPASS CAN HELP

MEALS AND COMPASS CAFE

Hot lunches are served Monday through Friday between Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and Harmony United Methodist Church.

Selected meal services may also offer Compass Café before lunch. Check the calendar for today’s meal site and schedule.

TRANSPORTATION TO MEAL SITES

Compass provides transportation from designated community pickup points to the meal site serving lunch that day.

CLOTHING AND EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS

Clothing, socks, hygiene supplies and other everyday items may be available at meal sites and outreach events.

 

Available items can vary, so contact us about what you need.

MEDICAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

Medical clinics and other community services are offered on selected dates.

 

Check the calendar for confirmed clinic dates and times.

SHOWER AND LAUNDRY ACCESS

Mobile shower and laundry services are coming soon.

 

Dates and locations will be added to the calendar once confirmed. Contact Compass if you need help finding another option.

SEASONAL WARMING SERVICES

Warming centers may open from October 15 through March 31 during severe weather or when temperatures are forecast to fall below 38°F. Locations are not published online. Call Compass to  find out where to go.

OUTREACH AND PEER SUPPORT

The outreach team connects with people throughout Coos County. Peer support may include help with appointments, identification documents, community resources and connections to other services.

Meal sites and outreach events are shared community spaces, and some days are busier than others. Come as you are and let the team know what you need.

Visitors, volunteers and staff are asked to treat one another and the surrounding community with care and respect.
