ABOUT
A NEW PATH FORWARD •
GUIDANCE AND CARE FOR THE PATH FOWARD

Compass Outreach works alongside individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and mental health challenges throughout Coos County.
Our role is to make help easier to reach and complicated systems easier to navigate. We meet people where they are, listen to what they need, and help connect them with practical support, resources, and opportunities that can move them toward greater stability.
The work is personal because every situation is different. There is no single route forward, and no one should have to figure it all out alone.

OUR MISSION
Compass Outreach is dedicated to guiding individuals experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges toward stability, healing, and self-sufficiency. As a trusted compass, we provide clear direction and connect people with the vital resources they need to navigate toward a brighter future.
Through holistic support and personalized care, we empower individuals to find their way home—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
OUR VALUES
We envision a community where every person can access the practical resources, personal support and opportunities they need to live with greater health, stability and purpose.
No one’s background or current circumstances should stand between them and food, safety, care or the opportunity to build a more secure future.

DEBBIE T.
CASE MANAGER SUPERVISOR
Debbie Tresidder is the Case Manager Supervisor at Compass Outreach and a certified Community Health Worker who brings 25 years of experience working with and managing groups of staff and individuals. Debbie also brings lived experience as a survivor of domestic abuse. Her personal experiences have strengthened her belief that every person deserves to be valued, respected, and treated with dignity, regardless of their background or what they may have experienced. Through her lived experience, Debbie has learned something deeply valuable about herself: experiencing trauma can change you, but it does not have to define you. Becoming a victim of trauma can leave a person feeling powerless, broken, or uncertain about their future. Through counseling, therapy, hard work, and honest self-reflection, Debbie learned that healing is possible and that there is strength on the other side of trauma. She often shares this perspective with the people she serves, that what has happened to us is part of our story, but it does not have to be the end of our story. With support, self-reflection, and a willingness to do the hard work of healing, we can discover the strength we may not have known we had. Debbie considers herself a warrior, not because she was never hurt, but because she found the courage to heal, grow, and continue moving forward.
